Madhubani, also known as Mithila painting, is not just an art form for her—it is a living tradition that carries the heartbeats of her ancestors. Over the years, she has brought to life themes that remain close to her heart—Kohbar paintings celebrating love and marriage, mythological stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, and cultural scenes that mirror the everyday life and festivals of Mithila. What makes her journey even more special is the recognition she has received from those she admires deeply. Being awarded by Padma Shri Dulari Devi, one of the most celebrated Madhubani artists of our time, is a memory she cherishes. For her, it was not just an award but a blessing, a moment of encouragement that strengthened her path as an artist. Her association with Khadimall, Patna, Bihar, has also given her a platform to showcase her paintings to a larger audience.
